On Monday (20/5), BPS Tulang Bawang Barat Regency implemented the 2024 Declaration of Love Statistics Village (Cantik Village) and Sectoral Statistics Development at Jasa Prima Homestay.
This event was attended by the Tulang Bawang Barat Regional Development Planning, Research and Innovation Agency (Bapperida), the Tulang Bawang Barat Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo), the Tulang Bawang Barat Community Empowerment and Tiyuh Service (DPMT), as well as 2 sample OPDs for Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS), namely the Tulang Bawang Barat Health Service and the Tulang Bawang Barat Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DPPPA). Apart from that, BPS also invited the Tulang Bawang Tengah sub-district head, the Tulang Bawang Udik sub-district head, the Tumijajar sub-district head, and 4 villages assisted by the Beautiful Village 2024 program.
The Beautiful Village Program is a sustainable and comprehensive sectoral statistics development program at the village level which is implemented by BPS every year. In 2024, BPS Tulang Bawang Barat Regency will carry out Beautiful Village development for 4 (four) villages, namely Margo Mulyo Village, Tumijajar District, Karta Raharja Village, Tulang Bawang Udik District, Panaragan Jaya Indah Village and Mulya Jaya Village, Tulang Bawang Tengah District.
Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) is an effort to improve the quality of implementation of sectoral statistics in an effective, efficient and sustainable manner. Government agencies are improving the quality of implementing sectoral statistics, while BPS measures the maturity level of implementing sectoral statistics in government agencies. The output of this activity is the Statistical Development Index (IPS) for each Central Agency and Regional Government. With EPSS activities, it is hoped that government agencies can carry out statistical activities well and in accordance with international standards so that the goals of Bureaucratic Reform, One Indonesian Data, and a reliable, effective and efficient National Statistics System are achieved.
