COLLABORATION BETWEEN BPS AND TULANG BAWANG BARAT REGIONAL GOVERNMENT

Tulang Bawang Barat (Tubaba) Regency Government (Pemkab), Lampung Province, through the Poverty Alleviation Coordination Team (TKPK), has prepared a number of strategies to accelerate poverty alleviation in the local area.

Acting Regent of Tubaba M. Firsada through Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) Bayana, said that based on BPS data for 2021-2024, the poverty rate in Tubaba Regency continues to improve and decrease every year, and is successfully below the poverty rate in Lampung Province.

"In 2021, the poverty rate in Tubaba Regency was 8.32 percent, decreasing to 7.44 percent in 2022. Then, in 2023 it decreased to 7.25 percent and in 2024 it decreased to 7.22 percent.

At the Coordination Meeting, the Head of BPS of Tulang Bawang Barat Regency provided input regarding the implementation of poverty alleviation programs that will be carried out by several OPDs must be based on data. The data used by the OPD is derived from the Sectoral Statistics data produced by the OPD. BPS Tulang Bawang Barat Regency is committed to assisting OPD in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency to produce good data for the implementation of development in Tubaba.
