BPS-Statistics of Tulang Bawang Barat Regency has begun training for field officers in order to support the implementation of March Susenas Data Collection and Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for Quarter 1 of 2025. Wave 1 training was conducted online via Zoom Meeting on January 13-15, 2025, which was then continued with face-to-face training on January 16, 2025.
This Wave 1 training aims to provide officers with a technical understanding related to data collection procedures, filling out questionnaires, and using technology-based survey tools. With systematic implementation, BPS hopes that officers will be able to implement data collection methods according to standards, so that the data produced can be a reference for quality development policies.
As a support for the training, participants have been given access to independent learning materials before the session begins. These materials include an introduction to basic concepts, technical guidelines, and data entry simulations. It is hoped that through this approach, training participants will be better prepared to face tasks in the field. Meanwhile, Wave 2 training will begin on January 17, 2025 with online sessions continuing on January 20 and 21, 2025. Face-to-face training for Wave 2 is scheduled for January 22, 2025, with additional training on January 23, 2025 specifically for Seruti officers. By implementing these two waves, BPS ensures that all officers can take part in the training according to schedule and receive sufficient provisions before going into the field.
