Abstract

Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in January 2011 reached 42.70%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in January 2011 reached 52.28 percent, an increase of 0.19 percent compared to December 2010 which was recorded at 52.09 percent. Meanwhile, compared to January 2010 which was recorded at 48.79 percent, the TPK in January 2011 experienced an increase of 3.49 percent due to the addition of 2 hotels. The TPK calculation since January 2011 was also carried out for other accommodation (non-star hotels), which reached 36.35%.

The number of guests staying in January 2011 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was 35,743 people, consisting of 188 foreign guests and 35,555 domestic guests. The number of guests in star hotels was 10,133 people, namely 175 foreign guests and 9,958 domestic guests, or down 1.58 percent compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, compared to January 2010, the number of overnight guests increased by 24.30 percent. The number of guests staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) reached 25,610 people, 13 foreign guests and 25,597 domestic guests.

The average length of stay of guests in January 2011 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was around 1.66 days, in star hotels 2.05 days, or 0.45 days higher compared to the previous month, and compared to January 2010 , also higher by 0.03 days. The average guest stay in other accommodation is around 1.50 days.
