The total export value of Lampung Province in January 2013 reached US$355.4 million or an increase of US$73.4 million (28.64%) compared to exports in December 2012. Exports in January 2013, compared to January 2012, also increased by US$44.8 million (14 .44%) of US$310.5 million.
The five main categories of goods in January 2012 were animal/vegetable fats & oils; coffee, tea, spices; pulp/pulp; fish and shrimp and rubber and rubber goods. Three categories experienced an increase in export value in January 2013 compared to December 2012. The highest increase in exports occurred in the animal/vegetable fats & oils category, US$90.69 million; fish and shrimp US$3.38 million; and rubber and rubber goods US$2.31 million. Two main categories of goods experienced a decline, namely coffee, tea, spices US$10.21 million and pulp/pulp US$2.61 million.
The largest contribution in January 2013 was dominated by four categories of goods, animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; pulp/pulp; fish and shrimp; and rubber and rubber goods, which each have a contribution of 50.97%; 13.96%; 4.1%; 3.94% and 3.02% of Lampung Province's total exports. The role of these five groups reached 75.99% of the total export value in January 2013.
The main export destination country in January 2013 was India which reached US$55.2 million, followed by the Netherlands, Italy, China and Taiwan with US$52 million, US$46.8 million, US$34.8 million and US$31 respectively. 7 million.
