During February 2013, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 23 observations in 4 selected districts. Observations were dominated entirely by the quality grain group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP).
The highest price for grain at the farmer level reached Rp. 5,000.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. Still with the same grain quality, the lowest grain price reached Rp. 3,700.00 per kg, namely the Umbul variety found in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is still above or the same as the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,300.00 per kg.
At the milling level, the highest price of grain is IDR. 5,080.00 per kg, namely the Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. Meanwhile, the lowest grain price is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg with the Umbul variety found in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is still above the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 3,350.00 per kg.
The price of grain at the farmer and mill level fell in February. This is due to the arrival of the rainy season so that grain stocks increase from the previous month. The average decrease in the price of the GKP quality group at the farmer level was 2.67 percent from Rp. 4,489.58 to Rp. 4,369.57, and at the milling level it decreased by 2.55 percent from Rp. 4,572.92 to Rp. 4,456.09.
