The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bandar Lampung during July 2013 reached 42.18%, down 13.76% compared to June 2013 which was recorded at 55.94%. ROR for star hotels in July 2013 compared to July 2012 which was recorded at 54.99%, decreased by 12.81%. ROR for other accommodation (other accommodation hotels) throughout July 2013 was 40.34%, down 2.23% compared to June 2013 which was recorded at 42.57%. ROR for other accommodation in July 2013 compared to July 2012 which was recorded at 36.84%, an increase of 3.50%. The number of guests during July 2013 at star hotels was 12,960 people, namely 1,262 foreign guests and 11,698 domestic guests. This number decreased by 3,133 people or around 19.47% compared to June 2013 which was recorded at 16,093 people.
The number of guests staying at star hotels in July 2013 decreased in all star hotel groups compared to the previous month. The number of guests during July 2013 who stayed in other accommodation was 66,428 people, consisting of 96 foreign guests and 66,332 domestic guests, down 8,303 people or around 11.11% compared to June 2013 which was recorded at 74,731 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in July 2013 decreased in all room groups compared to the previous month. The number of guests staying at star hotels in July 2013 compared to July 2012, decreased from 16,241 people to 12,960 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in July 2013 compared to July 2012 decreased from 68,966 people to 64,924 people.
The average length of stay for guests in July 2013 at star hotels was recorded at 1.56 days, down 0.12 days compared to June 2013. The average length of stay for foreign guests at star hotels in July 2013 was 1.50 days and for domestic guests the average -average stay is 1.57 days. The decrease in the average length of stay of guests at star hotels in July 2013 occurred in the 3, 4 and 5 star hotel groups compared to the previous month while the opposite was true for 1 and 2 star hotels. The average length of stay for guests during July 2013 in other accommodation was around 1.60 days, an increase of 0.20 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in July 2013 was 7.97 days and the average stay for domestic guests was 1.59 days. The increase in the average length of stay of guests in other accommodation in July 2013 occurred in all room groups compared to the previous month.
