Development of Paddy Producer Prices and Rice Prices at Mills October 2015

During October 2015, the Rice Producer Price Survey recorded 23 observations. The observations were dominated by the group of Harvested Dry Rice (GKP) quality rice. There were no groups of Milled Dry Rice (GKG) quality rice and low quality rice.

The highest price of rice at the farmer level reached IDR 5,750.00 per kg for GKP quality rice with the Jasmine variety in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. The lowest price of rice reached IDR 4,300.00 per kg for GKP quality rice, namely the Ciherang variety, in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. This price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of IDR 3,700.00 per kg.

At the milling level, the highest price of rice was IDR 5,830.00 per kg for GKP quality rice, namely the Jasmine variety, in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency, while the lowest price of rice for the GKP quality group was IDR 5,830.00 per kg. 4,400.00 per kg with Ciherang Variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP of Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.

The price of unhusked rice at the farmer and milling levels increased in October 2015. As the main harvest season passed, the price of unhusked rice increased. The average increase in the price of the GKP quality group at the farmer level was 3.53 percent from Rp. 4,905.21 per kg to Rp. 5,078.26 per kg, and at the milling level with the same quality group, it increased by 3.46 percent from Rp. 5,001.67 per kg to Rp. 5,174.57 per kg.
