Abstract

February 2018, Bandar Lampung City experienced inflation of 0.06 percent due to an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 133.17 in January 2018 to 133.25 in February 2018. Four expenditure groups contributed to inflation in Bandar Lampung City, ie foodstuffs contributing to inflation by 0.03 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.01 percent; clothing by 0.01 percent; and the transport, communication and financial services group by 0.01 percent. While the group of finished food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco; health groups; and education, recreation and sports groups do not contribute to the formation of inflation or deflation.
Some of the dominant commodities contributed to the inflation, rice, garlic, vegetable tomatoes, onion, tempe, gasoline, young jackfruit, domestic servants' wages, live chickens, and catfish.
