Abstract

May 2018, CPI Combined Lampung index decreased from 134.10 in April 2018 to 133.97 in May 2018, thus a deflation of 0.09 percent.

Based on the calculation of the inflation of calendar year (point to point) in May 2018 of 1.36 percent and inflation year on year (yoy) in May 2018 is equal to 2.42 percent.

Of the seven expenditure groups, the three groups experienced deflation, namely the foodstuff category experienced deflation (down by 0.41 percent); housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group by 0.07 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group by 0.02 percent. In contrast, the group of processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco experienced inflation of 0.05 percent; clothing group 0.29 percent; health group 0.18 percent; and the 0.01 percent transport, communication and financial services group
