Abstract
During May 2019, the Survey of Grain Producer Prices recorded 69 observations. Observation was dominated by the Grain Dry Harvest (GKP) quality group.
The highest grain price at the farm level reaches Rp. 4,800.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reaches Rp. 3,700.00 per kg in grain quality GKP with Jasmine, Galur, and Ciherang Varieties found in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency, and Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is the same as the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.
At the mill level, the highest grain price is Rp. 4,950.00 per kg in grain quality of GKP with Ciherang Varieties found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency, while the lowest grain price of GKP quality group is Rp. 3,780.00 per kg with Jasmine, Galur, and Ciherang Varieties in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency, and Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP, which is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.
Grain prices at farm level fell in May. This is due to the arrival of the rice harvest season so that grain stock increases from the previous month. The average decrease in group price for GKP quality at the farm level is 5.11 percent from Rp. 4,147.44 per kg to Rp. 3,935.48 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of grain at the grinding level fell by 5.11 percent from Rp. 4,237.56 per kg to Rp. 4,020.97 per kg.
