Abstract
| August 2020, Lampung CPI increased in index from 105.16 in July 2020 to 105.55 in August 2020, thus an inflation of 0.37 percent occurred. Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) in August 2020, inflation was 1.22 percent, while the year on year (yoy) inflation for August 2020 against August 2019 was 1.58 percent. Of the eleven expenditure groups, eight expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the education group by 2.34 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply group 2.26 percent; recreation, sports, and culture 2.18 percent; personal care and other services group 0.97 percent; health group 0.20 percent; the information, communication and financial services group at 0.06 percent; clothing and footwear group. 0.02 percent; and the food, beverage and tobacco group at 0.01 percent. On the other hand, the transportation group experienced a lower index (deflation of 0.39 percent); equipment, tools and household routine maintenance group 0.03 percent; and the housing, electricity, gas and fuel group at 0.01 percent. |
