The Average Price of Grain (GKP) at Farmers Decreased 5.54 Percent

Abstract

During October 2020, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 46 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP).

The highest price of unhulled rice at the farmer level is Rp. 5,300.00 per kg of GKP quality grain with Ciherang Varieties are found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. This price is higher than the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 4,200.00 per kg. Meanwhile, the lowest price of grain reached Rp. 4,000.00 per kg of GKP quality unhulled grain with Ciherang, Inpari, and Melati varieties are found in Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency.

At the milling level, the highest grain price is Rp. 5,450.00 per kg of GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety is found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The price above the COGS is Rp. 4,250.00 per kg. Meanwhile, the lowest price of grain for the GKP quality group was Rp. 4.125.00 per kg with Ciherang, Inpari, and Jasmine varieties found in Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency.

The price of unhulled rice at the farm level fell in October 2020. The average decline in the price of the GKP quality group at the farmer level was 5.54 percent from Rp. 4,625.00 per kg to Rp. 4,368.75 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of unhulled rice at the milling level decreased by 5.66 percent from Rp. 4,741.96 per kg to Rp. 4,473.44 per kg.
