Abstract

In March 2022, the Lampung CPI index increased from 108.71 in February 2022 to 109.71 in March 2022. As a result, inflation was 0.92 percent.

Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation, March 2022 experienced inflation of 0.94 percent, then year-to-year inflation from March 2022 to March 2021 was 2.43 percent.

Of the eleven expenditure groups, eight expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the food, beverage and tobacco group which experienced inflation of 2.59 percent; recreation, sports and culture group 1.24 percent; health group 0.82 percent; personal care and other services group 0.75 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group 0.65 percent; clothing and footwear group 0.51 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group 0.08 percent; and housing, water, electricity, household fuel groups by 0.05 percent. On the other hand, the two groups experiencing deflation were the transportation group by 0.23 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group of 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, one other group, namely the education group, did not experience a change in the index.
