The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2023 for Lampung Province decreased by 0.30 percentage points

• The number of labor force is based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in August 2023 as many as 4,904.90 thousand people, an increase of 308.97 thousand people compared to August 2022. Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) decreases by 0.02 percentage points.
• The working population was 4,697.66 thousand people, an increase of 309.69 thousand people from August 2022. Job opportunities have increased the largest are Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries amounting to 73.84 thousand people.
• A total of 1,378.02 thousand people (29.33 percent) worked in formal activities, increased by 0.85 percentage points compared to August 2022.
• The percentage of underemployed rose by 1.59 percentage points, meanwhile part-time workers decreased by 1.06 percentage points compared to August 2022.
• The Unemployment Rate (TPT) in August 2023 was 4.23 percent, down by 0.30 percentage points compared to August 2022.
