In July 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province of 2.55 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.14. The highest inflation occurred in East Lampung Regency at 3.63 percent, with a CPI of 109.07 and the lowest occurred in Mesuji Regency at 1.73 percent with a CPI of 110.44.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most of the expenditure group indices (inflation), namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group which experienced inflation of 5.45 percent; clothing and footwear group 3.19 percent; housing, water, electricity, household fuel group 0.25 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group 0.80 percent; percent group; transportation group 0.91 percent; education group 2.39 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group 0.93 percent; and personal care and other services group 3.17 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index (deflation) were: the health group by 0.02 percent; the information, communication and financial services group by 0.37 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.51 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in July 2024 recorded deflation of 0.16 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in July 2024 experienced inflation of 0.37 percent.
