September 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province was 2.16 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Mesuji Regency at 2.84 percent.

In September 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Lampung Province of 2.16 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.26. The highest inflation occurred in Mesuji Regency at 2.84 percent, with a CPI of 110.16 and the lowest occurred in Metro City at 1.86 percent with a CPI of 105.38.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in most of the expenditure group indices (inflation), namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group which experienced inflation of 3.51 percent; clothing and footwear group 2.61 percent; housing, water, electricity, household fuel group 0.71 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group 0.41 percent; health group 1.43 percent; transportation group 0.37 percent; education group 5.63 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group 1.04 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.07 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: the information, communication and financial services group by 0.50 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group which experienced deflation of 0.77 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate in September 2024 was recorded at 0.05 percent and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in September 2024 was 0.48 percent.
