Socialization of the Beautiful Village Program in Pulung Kencana Village, West Tulang Bawang Regency

Villages are no longer considered as objects of development, but are placed as subjects and spearheads of development in improving community welfare. Currently in villages there are various data collection application systems (Prodeskel, Village SDGs, SIK-NG, etc.), but the quality and capacity of human resources (HR) in village governments in terms of village data management and literacy is still relatively low. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as the leading sector in statistical development has an important role in improving the management, utilization and literacy of data at the village level.

Development of the role of villages in the digital era so that villages are expected to be competent in data management and literacy. There is a need for family characteristics data that is up-to-date and in accordance with field conditions, which can then be mapped digitally on the Tiyuh Pulung Kencana website. Field data collection included in the 2023 Beautiful Pulung Kencana Village Development Activities is data collection on all families who live in Tiyuh Pulung Kencana.

The socialization of the beautiful village program for Pulung Kencana village was held at the West Tulang Bawang Regency BPS office, on Monday, September 25 2023. The socialization was attended by Pulung Kencana village officials, including the Pulung Kencana village head, and opened by the Head of West Tulang Bawang Regency BPS, Mrs. Sartika Yuliani Siregar.
