PAT Polygon Check for Rice Planting Area Expansion 2025

In order to increase national rice production productivity, the Ministry of Agriculture launched the Planting Area Expansion (PAT) program. Following up on the program, the Production Team from the Tulang Bawang Barat Regency BPS conducted field checks on 9 PAT polygons that were not Standard Paddy Fields (LBS). This activity aims to ensure the existence of rice plants and see the potential for expanding rice planting areas. This activity is an important part in supporting the formation of the Rice Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) sample framework.

Before the check, the BPS Production Team had coordinated with the West Tulang Bawang Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantation Service regarding information on PAT polygons.

📍 The check locations are spread across 3 sub-districts:

✅ Tumijajar

✅ Tulang Bawang Udik

✅ Lambu Kibang
