The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bandar Lampung during September 2013 reached 57.31%, up 12.17% compared to August 2013 which was recorded at 45.14%. ROR for star hotels in September 2013 compared to September 2012 which was recorded at 59.21%, decreased by 1.90%. The ROR for other accommodation (other accommodation hotels) throughout September 2013 was 43.33%, an increase of 3.19% compared to August 2013 which was recorded at 40.14%. The ROR for other accommodation in September 2013 compared to September 2012 was recorded at 40.94%, an increase of 2.39%.
The number of guests during September 2013 at star hotels was 14,496 people, namely 1,651 foreign guests and 12,845 domestic guests. This number increased by 2,069 people or around 16.65% compared to August 2013 which was recorded at 12,427 people. The development of guests staying at star hotels in September 2013 increased in all star hotel groups compared to the previous month. The number of guests during September 2013 who stayed in other accommodation was 72,172 people, consisting of 57 foreign guests and 72,115 domestic guests, an increase of 5,948 people or around 8.98% compared to August 2013 which was recorded at 66,224 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in September 2013 increased in all room groups compared to the previous month. The number of guests staying at star hotels in September 2013, compared to September 2012, decreased from 16,828 people to 14,496 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in September 2013, compared to September 2012, decreased from 73,479 people to 72,172 people.
The average length of stay for guests in September 2013 at star hotels was recorded at 1.56 days, down 0.01 days compared to August 2013. The average length of stay for foreign guests at star hotels in September 2013 was 1.37 days and for domestic guests the average -average stay is 1.58 days. A decrease in the average length of stay of guests at star hotels in September 2013 occurred in 1 and 2 star hotels compared to the previous month. The average length of stay of guests during September 2013 in other accommodation was around 1.55 days, down 0.02 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in September 2013 was 14.17 days and the average length of stay for domestic guests was 1.53 days. The decrease in the average length of stay of guests in other accommodation in September 2013 occurred in the < 25 room group compared to the previous month
