Meanwhile, sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely the food crops sub-sector which fell 0.88 percent.
Of the 32 provinces, 19 provinces experienced an increase in NTP and 13 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in Bali Province, namely 0.99 percent, this was because the price paid by farmers only increased by 0.13 percent, while the price received by farmers increased by 1.12 percent. Meanwhile, the largest decline in NTP occurred in DI Yogyakarta Province, which fell by 0.55 percent, because the price paid by farmers rose by 0.41 percent while the price received by farmers actually fell by 0.14 percent.
November 2011 saw inflation in rural areas in Lampung Province amounting to 0.40 percent. Inflation in rural areas was mainly caused by an increase in the price index for the foodstuffs group, and was supported by an increase in the index for other groups except the clothing group.
