SPDT IHPB Training 2023

On March 20 2023, at the West Tulang Bawang Regency BPS Office, training was held for the 2023 Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) 2023 SPDT Survey officers. The training was given to 3 IHPB 2023 SPDT officers.

The 2023 SPDT IHPB aims to improve the weighting in calculating provincial IHPB in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia. Where, IHPB is used as a deflator for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). IHPB is also used by Bank Indonesia (BI) as an indicator for economic policy analysis.

It is hoped that the results of the 2023 IHPB SPDT will be able to accurately describe the current wholesale trading conditions as well as price changes at the wholesaler level in Indonesia so that the IHPB calculation which will be carried out every month will be precise and more accurate.
